SPREAD YOUR WINGS AND FLY

If I wait until everything is perfect, and I know exactly what I'm doing, I will never live my dreams.

I can think of dozens of reasons why now isn't a good time to spread my wings and fly.

I need more experience before I get started.

I need to be older and more mature before I launch out.

I need to be stronger to have the ability to endure and persevere.

I need to get permission from my parents, my boss, the government, and God.

I need to wait until tomorrow or next week when I am better prepared.

I need to wait until conditions are more favorable before I spread my wings and fly.

All of those things may be true, but if I accept them as reality, I may as well say good-bye to my dreams.  They will not happen.

But I'm not going to listen to the voice of limitation and fear.

I've already spread my wings, and I'm soaring on the updrafts of God's love.

I'm not waiting until I'm older;  I've given myself permission to live my dreams now, and I'll get the experience I need along the way.
